What this covers
—Single-leg linear USDT/USDC perpetuals, long or short.
—Supported in the full check as versioned profiles: BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT, SOLUSDT.
—No inverse or coin-margined contracts — different payoff and collateral semantics.
—No liquidation price and no funding forecast. Both are venue facts that require verified modules.
Formula and assumptions
—Raw stop loss = |entry − stop| × quantity.
—Fees = (entry notional + stop notional) × taker fee in bps.
—Adverse fill = stop notional × slippage in bps — fast markets and thin books fill worse than the stop.
—All-in planned loss = raw loss + fees + adverse fill.
—Estimated margin = notional ÷ leverage. Venue tiers can require more.
—USDT/USDC settlement treated as USD one-to-one.

Worked example
Example — not a recommendation.
Position0.1 BTC · long · entry 60,000 · stop 58,800
Raw stop loss$120.00
Fees at 5 bps round-turn$5.94
Adverse fill at 2 bps$1.18
All-in planned loss$127.12 = 1.27% of $10,000
Common mistakes
×Quoting the raw stop distance as the risk and discovering the difference in the fill.
×Measuring risk against margin instead of against equity — margin is collateral, not the account.
×Treating an exposure multiple as harmless because the margin looked small.
×Asking a calculator for a liquidation price. That is a maintenance-margin calculation your venue defines.
